Our Equipping Staff

The Church is governed by 4 men as elders, with Christ at the Center. The board of deacons has 5 men. The various Ministries /Departments are all under the oversight of the Session.

ELDERS

Pastor Edward Kasaija has been part of the FirstPres family since 1979. Under his leadership and reformed biblical teaching, First Pres Congregants have been blessed with growth and a mutual concern for fellowship and service. He grew up in Kibale, Western Uganda. He and his wife, Mary, have six children, Grace, Andrew, Dorah, Emma, Ben and Cathy.Email Pastor Edward

Elder Patrick Bukenya has been part of the FirstPres since 1987, and he serves as the Missions' Pastor.He joined the leadership and biblical teaching in 1996 after he graduated from All Nations Theological College and Westminster Theological College & Seminary. He grew up in Luwero, Central Uganda. He and his wife Vicky, have two girls Genesis and Gabbie Bukenya. Email Pastor Patrick

Elder David kabaale is married to Grace with 3 girl Sharon, Shalom and Shama. Besides singing, he runs a Theology mobile school, where he trains rural pastors and leaders who cannot afford Bible colleges. Email David

Simon Peter Kimbowa has been part of this reformed family since 1979. Under his servanthood, First Pres Congregants has been blessed with his administrative service. He is married with 3 children, Diana, Cindy and Simon.

DEACONS

Tebayite Frank
Frank has been part of this family since its inauguration, and he serves as the chief deacon with Richard, Thomas, James and Chris. He is married to Norah with 4 children Damalie, Esther, Stella & Leuben.

Noel Thomas Kalunda
Thomas grew up in Mityana and he's married to Rita; Besides deaconal office, he coordinates PresAID Uganda. Email Thomas

Jane Yiga
Jane is married to James Yiga with Children. She is the chaiperson Women ministry and teaches Sunday school children class.

MEN
Moses Bukulu is the chairman Married Couples and men of the Covenant (men in the Church). Moses is married to Grace with 4 children; Emmanuel, Benjamin, Ruth and Jacob.
